Nuclearwardrobe. Nuclearwardrobe has
always been a supplementary career and
creative outlet for me. I have worn,
admired, and collected vintage clothing since
I was in high school. In 2000, while going to
college, I started Nuclearwardrobe.com, at
the height of vintage clothing trade on eBay.
It became another venue to sell vintage
clothing and to share my sewing projects.
Through the years Nuclearwardrobe has
undergone many transformations from a
portfolio of homemade clothing to custom
made dresses and designer reproductions. At
one time, I worked as a wardrobe stylist for
retro pin-up style photo shoots.
Nuclearwardrobe has been a well known
name throughout the retro subculture due to
the monthly pin-up contests that were hosted
here for over four years. (Take a look at our
Pin-up Archive ) Through all the
transformations, selling and appreciating
vintage garments and style has been the
foundation.
I like to find and sell authentic vintage
clothing as
well as reproduction vintage fashions that
capture the classic fit and style
of a bygone era. Even the reproduction
clothing I sell is vintage, by definition
(pre-1980s), but I try to stay consistent with
maintaining the look and feel of fashion from
the 1940s through 1960s. Whether vintage, or
inspired, each piece carries a signature classic
look.
I take a lot of pride in selling items that are
one-of-a-kind, unique garments. I have an
excellent selling reputation with over 900
positive feedback responses on eBay and over
30 on etsy.com. I am also Paypal verified.
Vintage clothing carries sophistication and
